About SteelGrid

SteelGrid is an online job board specialising in metallurgy, welding, piping, and fabrication. It connects workers with companies posting industrial projects and positions.

SteelGrid is operated by Black Cat Solutions j.d.o.o., a company registered in Croatia. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the platform.

Eligibility

To use SteelGrid you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

If you register on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that company to these Terms.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide truthful, accurate, and up-to-date information when creating and maintaining your account. Providing false information is grounds for immediate suspension.

You must notify us immediately at info@steelgrid.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Company Accounts

Companies may post job projects and positions for legitimate employment purposes only. Each posting must accurately describe the work, location, conditions, and compensation.

You must have the authority to make employment offers on behalf of your organisation. By posting a position, you confirm that the role is genuine and that you intend to hire.

Job listings must comply with all applicable laws, including labour law, anti-discrimination law, and data protection law.

Companies that receive verification from SteelGrid must not misrepresent or exploit their verified status.

Internal contact person details provided during profile setup are used by SteelGrid administrators for verification and support purposes only. They are never displayed to workers.

Worker Accounts

Your profile information, including certifications, qualifications, and work history, must be truthful and accurate. Misrepresenting your qualifications may result in account suspension.

Applications must represent genuine interest in the position. Submitting speculative or automated applications is prohibited.

When a company accepts your application, their contact details will be revealed to you and your profile contact details will be revealed to them. This contact reveal marks the start of direct communication and is outside SteelGrid's oversight.

Platform Role and Disclaimers

SteelGrid is an intermediary marketplace. We are not an employer, staffing agency, or recruiter of record. We are not a party to any employment, contractor, or service agreement made between a worker and a company.

We do not guarantee that using SteelGrid will result in job interviews, employment offers, or successful hires.

We do not verify the accuracy of job listings beyond the company verification process. Workers should conduct their own due diligence before accepting a position.

Moderation and Enforcement

We reserve the right to review any account or content on the platform at any time.

We may suspend, restrict, or permanently remove accounts and content that violate these Terms, without prior notice in serious cases.

Companies must pass our verification process before publishing job listings. We may revoke verification at our discretion if we find that a company no longer meets the criteria.

Public Content

Published job listings and verified company profiles are publicly visible to all visitors, including search engine crawlers.

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting content on SteelGrid, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the platform.

We reserve the right to remove any content that is inaccurate, misleading, offensive, or in violation of these Terms.

Prohibited Conduct

The following are prohibited on SteelGrid:

• Fraud, misrepresentation, or impersonation of another person or organisation.
• Posting job listings that are fictitious, misleading, or intended to harvest personal data.
• Automated scraping, crawling, or bulk downloading of platform content.
• Attempting to circumvent security measures or gain unauthorised access to any account or system.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users.
• Using the platform for any purpose other than legitimate job matching in the metallurgy and related industries.

Pricing and Paid Features

Current pricing and plan details are available on the pricing page. For workers, the first month is free.

Monthly fee payments (workers) and monthly fee and commission payments (companies) are non-refundable.

Annual fee payments (workers) and annual fee and commission payments (companies) are eligible for a refund if the service has not been used for more than 4 months, in the amount of 30% of the paid amount. A refund must be requested in writing (by email).

Intellectual Property

The SteelGrid name, logo, design, software, and platform content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property law.

You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of our platform without our express written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SteelGrid and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost profits, lost data, or failure to secure employment.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of SteelGrid after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Croatia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of SteelGrid shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Croatia.
